To be honest a lot of people don't really care about their private data but if you do this one is for you, if you use Opera GX or Chrome or any browser owned by Google dump it now and change it because those browsers sell your data without you knowing.
Why you should care?
They collect your data without you knowing, they store it, they sell it. What could possibly go wrong? They could look at your private data and spy on you. Oh, and what if their database is häçked or their affiliates are häçked, your private information will surely be public on the Internet and will be targetted or perhaps blackmail you with your personal information (This is happening in real life).
As a tech guy can't you just use a DNS or firewall to block them?
This will certainly work but it won't be effective because some essential requests for a program to work that those big tech uses require personal information in order to work. But it will certainly reduce the number of trackers.
